07Andrew McGregor is onto something really good. Time well spent with Thurston and Sunburned combines with an exile in Nova Scotia to yield this deeply fryed trilogy. Epic burnt instrumentals recall the entire Harmony of the Spheres, but these are no mere guitarscapes, truemanville's triptych is all at once fragile and crushing, both melodic and bleeding. This is the Gown we've been waiting for, a fucking maturity and complexity we always knew was in there. Spark, burn, blacken.
